Note: Apple added the outline view to its documentation website. Because the feature has been implemented, this project is now archived. Please do not use it.
Apple developers read Apple Developer Documentation frequently in their daily work. Although the documentation is well written, it doesn't provide a content outline that help developers get the structure of the articles.
This extension improves the reading experience of Apple Developer Documentation by adding an outline section on the right column of the page.
You can install this extension from its page on Chrome Web Store.
Or you can also use it under developer mode.
- Clone the project or download .zip release and decompress it.
- Open extension management page (chrome://extensions/) of your browser.
- Turn on "Developer mode"
- Click "Load unpacked extension".
- Choose the folder of the project and click OK to install it.
- That's it! The extension takes effect whenever you navigate to a appropriate Apple Developer Documentation.
Any kind of contributions are welcome. If you have any requirements or you encounter any bugs, feel free to open an issue or create a PR.
