sns terraform module

A terraform module to provide Simple Notification Service (SNS) in AWS.

Module Input Variables

• name - friendly name for the SNS topic
• display_name - display name for the SNS topic
• policy - fully-formed AWS policy as JSON
• delivery_policy - SNS delivery policy

Usage

You can use these in your terraform template with the following steps.

1.) Adding a module resource to your template, e.g. main.tf

  source = "github.com/terraform-community-modules/tf_aws_sns"

  name         = "my-sns"

  display_name = "my-topic"

2.) Setting values for the following variables, either through terraform.tfvars or -var arguments on the CLI

• name
• display_name
• policy
• delivery_policy

Outputs

• id - ARN of the SNS topic
• arn - ARN of the SNS topic
