Using an older version

In some cases, users may face issues or dislike changes in features of add-ons.
For such cases, you can downgrade the version of a specific add-on on your local machine.

Available releases

Releases are available [here] - Releases.

Be Aware

No fix, updates or support are provided for legacy versions. You're on your own, ok?!

How to

In this case, it's not possible to proceed using Anki's mechanism. You need to do a change manually. To do so,

  1. Download the zip file found in the link (Releases) above
  2. Unzip it somewhere in your machine
  3. Find and open the add-ons directory (if you don't know where, check the topic below)
  4. There, each add-on is within a folder with it's ID
  5. Open the desired folder and replace all the files with the files extracted in Step 2

How to find Anki's add-ons folder

  1. Open Anki
  2. Go to Tools -> Add-ons -> View Files
