Releases: spatialmodel/inmap
InMAP Version 1.10.0-beta.1
This Beta version of InMAP is not ready for general use!
In particular, with this version we are testing a different grid format which can allow pollution to transport across the international date line, so it won't work with inmap*.gob
files generated using previous versions of the model.

This release improves improves speed and memory usage when handling large amounts of gridded data or OpenStreetMap data.
Now, the model retrieves OpenStreetMap data from a PostGIS server, so access to a PostGIS server is now needed to use OpenStreetMap data.
See the changelog for more details.
Data for evaluating and running the model in the United States has not changed changed from previous versions and can be downloaded from the following link:
As in v1.8.0, this release additionally includes data that can be used to run the model with a global spatial domain as configured in this article:
Sumil K. Thakrar, Christopher W. Tessum, Joshua S. Apte, Srinidhi Balasubramanian, Dylan B. Millet, Spyros N. Pandis, Julian D. Marshall, Jason D. Hill (2021) Global, high-resolution, reduced-complexity air quality modeling using InMAP (Intervention Model for Air Pollution), ChemRxiv Preprints, https://chemrxiv.org/s/373426ad64ba6b267373.
The global data associated with the above article can be downloaded from the following link:
Also the same as in v1.8.0, there is an additional dataset of model inputs and configurations here: . This is the input data that we are using for global urban air pollution modeling funded by the Clean Air Fund, C40, and the Wellcome trust.
InMAP Version 1.8.0
Documentation for this release is available here.
The major changes in this release are fixes to two bugs related to the prediction of particulate sulfate concentrations. These fixes lead to increased sulfate predictions when using the WRF-Chem (USA) version of InMAP and decreased sulfate predictions when using the GEOS-Chem (global) version of InMAP, as compared to version 1.7.2. See the changelog for more details.
