+Joseph W.Esherick，以研究义和团被人熟知，但因为中文名字“周锡瑞”中国味太浓，常常被误以为是美籍华人。
+
+Joseph哈佛毕业之后，到香港新亚书院学中文，需取中国名字，以Esherick取的话就要姓“艾”，但他讨厌艾森豪威尔，最后以Joseph来取，姓了“周”，锡瑞即“sheri”的音读。
