That looks good to me (in the sense I have no further comments than those which were already made)
@open-telemetry/docs-approvers can we wait until Monday to merge it, so that folks from the new SIG have time to review? |

It probably does not matter, but to be precise, instrgen
was owned and developed by https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-go-instrumentation (which is ebf) and is also based on toolexec
(https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-go-contrib/pull/4058/files)

Add blogpost after open-telemetry/community#2490 was merged and the SIG has been created, announcing donations proposals and creation of new SIG.
