Project Name: Pokemon Index (My First JS App)

Project Description

This is the first JavaScript app that I wrote. It was created as part of the curriculum for the Full Stack Web Development Program at Career Foundry.

Project Requirements

  • Display data in Bootstrap list-group with btn class
  • Page must use Bootstrap navbar
  • Bootstrap model must close by all of the following options:
    • clicking on "X" or "Close" buttons
    • clicking anywhere outside the modal
    • pressing "ESC" on keyboard

Extra

I also created version using Bootstrap Card class to display the data

  • Create basic UI pattern using Javascript and Bootstrap 5
  • Create Modal using Bootstrap 5 Library

The objective of the project, as stated in Project Brief provided by Career Foundry, was:

To build a small web application with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that loads data from an external API and enables the viewing of data points in detail.
