Initial release of ceylond. Includes four modules:

  • de.lucaswerkmeister.ceylond.core: Asynchronous byte stream server for JVM and JS backends.
  • de.lucaswerkmeister.ceylond.recordBased: Abstraction on top of the core module to receive and send record strings, separated by a record separator like "\n".
  • de.lucaswerkmeister.ceylond.packetBased: Abstraction on top of the core module to receive and send byte packets of known length and type.
  • de.lucaswerkmeister.ceylond.daemonizeProgram: Library to daemonize any Ceylon program, based on the packetBased module.

The .car files for this release have been made reproducible using a fork of Debian’s strip-nondeterminism program. The following script, on a fresh Debian Jessie GNU/Linux system, should produce the exact same binary:

#!/bin/bash
