Future Features

A list of high-level features that intend to be added to Artshow Jockey over time. Many of these are to support processes that are not used by shows other than Further Confusion.

• Isolating the "People" database as a separate Django application, but still packaged with Artshow Jockey. This will allow Artshow Jockey to be linked to a pre-existing database as part of a larger Django installation.
• Support purchase of pieces that have no bids, and are flagged as allowing a "post-close sale".
• Support allocating specific Locations to artists, for shows that have pre-assigned spaces. Assumes a one-to-one mapping between a Location and a space. However, ensuring pieces are located only where the aritst is assigned can be reported on, but won't be enforced.
• Allow artists, or their agents, to log in and enter their own piece details. Printing of completed control forms and bid sheets.
• Allow bidders to log in and check their winning status
• Allow bidders to pay for their winnings on-line.
• Allow bidders to view a gallery of artwork that is in the show (with the artist's consent, of course), and buy pieces after close, that are un-sold and marked as buyable
