I had to make this change in order to get the NetApp driver to work on Essex.

Thanks Joe. Do I know you? I'm curious to know what you're using the
driver for.

We have plans for a comprehensive backport of several features to Essex
which will be happening very soon, and most likely supersede this change.

@bswartz Hi Ben,

No, we have never met. I work for Cybera. We're currently working with NetApp in Alberta to test functionality between a NetApp storage device and OpenStack. We have plans to implement the two together in production in a few weeks.

We had a few issues with the stock driver that ships with Essex, so Mark Z pointed me to this driver.

I'm glad to hear about the backport. I am flip-flopping between Essex and Folsom, so it's good to know that Essex will have an updated driver with features.

Thanks,
Joe
