It seems like there was a bug in how we handled parsing repetitions in the presence of Perl-extended comments.
The library is able to diagnose erroneous repetitions such as:
/]*++/but this wasn't the case for something like:/]*+#comment\n+, as was found by fuzzing.I've updated the code to hopefully fix this.
