My name is Yağmur Akbaba and I'm a new graduate who studied Software Engineering at Izmir University of Economics. I have been dedicated to improving my skills and knowledge through my education and internships. In addition, I have actively participated in student clubs to further develop my social skills. Understanding the significance of soft skills, I have undergone diction training and participated in various activities, including mentoring. My involvement in numerous software projects and student branch activities has allowed me to comprehend the importance of being a team player and has honed my abilities in this regard. - My task at the TUBITAK Space Technologies Research Institute was to conduct research on topics assigned by my mentor and to develop programs using SOAP, REST, and WebSocket. As a final project, I was required to develop a file transfer application using REST and write a detailed report on my research topics and the programs I developed. At the end of the internship, I also gave a presentation about what I learned and the programs I developed. During this internship, I improved my coding skills and Java knowledge and gained experience with tools such as Postman.
