Upgrades can be used on most of the machines in PA. The upgrades do different things depending on the machine they are used it. You can only use the same tier upgrade as the machine you are trying to use it in. You can get the upgrades back from a machine by breaking it.

Recipes

Range Upgrades

Range upgrades increase the range of the machines. You will need to use the same level of upgrade as the machine you are trying to upgrade.

Wither Upgrade

The wither upgrade will (by default) make the standard range upgrades be worth 4 times as much.

Cobble Gen Upgrade

By adding this upgrade to the Miner it will start producing cobble stone to fill after mining itself. This comes at a cost of extra durability usage on the pick. The cobble produced can not be pulled out of the Miner it is meant for use in the Miner only. You can however manually remove it if you have the need for some extra cobble.

Cobble Gen Upgrade

Filler Upgrade

Adding this upgrade to a Miner will cause it to fill in any Air or Liquid blocks that are found while mining (Normally these blocks are just ignored). Great for filling up all those cave systems for a mob farm.

Filler Upgrade

Milker Upgrade

Adding this upgrade to a Farmer Machine will allow that machine to milk animals into buckets that are provided to the machine.

Shearing Upgrade

Adding this upgrade to a Farming Machine will allow that machine to shear animals with in that machines range. You will need to provide the machine with some form of shears which will take durability damage.

Filter Upgrades

These upgrades can be used in the Killer Machine to determine what entities the machine will attack. The default for the machine is to attack everything and anything (including players) so using these is a good idea. The Upgrades also stack which means you can combine more than one and the machine will do all of what the filters say.

Animal Filter Upgrade

Will make the machine only attack animals.

Animal Filter Upgrade

Mob Filter Upgrade

Will make the machine only attack enemy mobs.

Mob Filter Upgrade

Player Filter Upgrade

Will make the machine only players, all players, including you!

Mob Filter Upgrade

Adult Filter Upgrade

This is a special upgrade. On its own it will make the machine only attack adult mobs, so baby animals or zombies will not be attacked. You can combine this upgrade with the animal upgrade so that it will only attack adult animals, perfect for an animal farm!
