A game jam is an event where you have to make a game based on a theme in a specified amount of time, which is usually 24 hours at ScriptersCF. After completing and submitting your game, we will determine our favourite game with a community vote and/or panel of judges, at our discretion. We pledge to send the developer(s) behind the best game a prize derived from donations, which has previously gone up to 125,000R$.

First, you need to decide whether you want to participate as a solo developer or with a team of developers. If you want to find a team and potentially make new friends during the process, you can use the #gamejam-chat
channel to discuss what you are looking for. Once you have decided who you will work with, you must fill in the entry form mentioned in the announcement.
Once registered, you might find it useful to get to know your team, and discuss the times that you will be available during the event.
If you are interested in streaming the development of your game, you can DM the event host for your stream to be featured in our #game-jam-streamers
channel.
Once the event starts, the theme will be announced and you will be allowed to start. In the case of any disagreements, you are allowed to leave your team and participate in the event solo, however you will not be allowed to join another team, so it's important that you plan ahead.
Once you have finished your game, you must fill in the entries form linked. You must submit your game before the end of the event, otherwise you risk being disqualified, which means that we won't be able to accept any of your work.
The Robux prize is paid out via Group Payout. You can join our Roblox group at scf.cx/roblox
You are not allowed to ask friends to vote for your game. If you are caught, you risk being disqualified.
We sometimes give 10 minutes leeway to give participants the chance to submit, but this is not guaranteed. If we choose to reject your submission, it will not be counted unfortunately.
No, your game must be made during the event.
Modifying your game after the end is not allowed and may result in disqualification. If you want to change something, you must be given explicit permission from the event host.
Once the winners have been announced, you are free to do whatever you want with your game, including earning any revenue and remaining unaffiliated with ScriptersCF. Your game is entirely your own property.
If you have found that someone is cheating, you must contact the event host immediately so that we can deal with the situation. It is important that we are made aware of such issues, otherwise we might give our prize to a team that did not participate fairly.
Yes, your submissions are still entirely your own property and we would never publish them on your behalf. If you are chosen to be awarded Robux, we will ask for a copy of your game file in order to check for any signs of cheating, but we delete the given file after being checked.
You're welcome to contribute your game to our open-source organisation, promote our community or donate to our future events, but none of this is a requirement.
You are equally welcome to continue your game without any affiliation with ScriptersCF, promote it on Roblox under your own name and keep all of its revenue as you would with any other projects.
These rules are subject to change at any given time. This is not a giveaway, and so you are not necessarily entitled to a prize. You should only be participating to gain development experience and have fun. Our donated prize pool should only be considered an additional incentive, which we award to winning developers that have participated fairly.
