Release Notes

This is the forth release for Alpha testing. All of the basic functionality needed to run OpenBazaar is included in this release. Many core features are still being enhanced, and many non-core features have not been added yet.

Changelog

The following significant changes have been made in this release:

New Features

  • The Followers and Following tabs in the user page will now lazy load as the user scrolls. #676
  • The user data for each follower or followee now uses the cache, which should be much faster to load. #676
  • You can retrieve your wallet backup seed in settings/advanced now. #690
  • Segwit addresses work now. #709
  • Server configurations that use Tor now include a Tor password. #710

Improvements

  • Move the ... to the end of the updating message. #712
  • When selecting a product variant, the text is now left aligned. #692
  • All modal gutters were adjusted to be 12px for consistency. #692

Bug Fixes

  • A potential rounding error that made the displayed total off by 0.01 when converting from a fiat currency to bitcoin and back to a different fiat currency was eliminated. #706
  • The purchases state is no longer lost if a refresh is triggered (for instance by changing your currency in the middle of a purchase). #706
  • The status bar has been moved to behind the chat sidebar #691
  • Issues with followers and following being inaccurate have been corrected. #676
  • Space was added between the coupon applied text and the remove link. #692
  • An issue where some navigation bar buttons could still be clicked when it was disabled has been fixed. #692
  • A text overflow problem in the order details screen was corrected. #692
  • The call to load moderators in the purchase screen now uses cached data. #707
  • Renderjson no longer fails in the installed app, which should allow contracts to be shown correctly in the order details screen. #711

Translated languages are not yet implemented in this release. We expect some of them to be available in a near future release.
