MERN Stack project: “CUET INSIDERS”. It’s a mentor finder and social media platform for my university! 🌐

📌 About the Project:

For the past few weeks, I've been hard at work designing and developing a dynamic web application using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js). This project is not just a website; it's a platform that will help students at my university find their mentors from the industry. It will reduce the gap between university students and industry experts. People can also join exciting events and read the latest news about the different activities at the university.

👨‍💻 Key Features:

✅ Login/Register: Sign up using google account or a valid email address to create a profile.
✅ User Profiles: Create and customize your profile to showcase your skills and interests. Users can update their profiles anytime they want.
✅ Mentor Matching: Find mentors based on your interests and department.
✅ Book Appointment: Send requests for appointment to the mentors with a detailed message.
✅ Review Appointment: Review the status of received and requested appointments.
✅ Post blogs: Share your knowledge through posts. Interact with the mentors through liking, commenting, and sharing their posts.
✅ Bookmark post: Save and delete your favorite posts by adding and removing bookmarks.
✅ Find people: Find your followers, followings, and suggested users. User can follow/unfollow other users.
✅ Join events: See the upcoming events and their details. Register for the events that are suitable for you.
✅ Read News: Stay updated with the latest university news and student activities. Search news according to the categories.
