What's the current status of this project? #889

I haven’t checked in on this project in a couple months but I do know what
happened to 0.3 alpha: the Eve team is working on a brand new version
that’s a quantum leap ahead (rewritten in Rust, too) and it isn’t ready for
prime time so they’re working on it in a private repo (invite only). I
worked on the error handling code for that hidden project for awhile.

What's the current project status and how will/could the future look like?
Any plans?

Yes, like I said, the Eve team is no more. That means nothing is being developed. They ran out of funding. |
Post about Eve winding down: |
Mech could be seen as a spiritual successor of sorts: https://github.com/mech-lang/mech |
I entered eve's website, got completely sold on the idea, and came here to see it's discontinued. |
I got scared by the commit 005c478 telling Eve 0.3 alpha won't be developed any further.
