Slow vite:load of Vike files

After upgrading to Vite 6, I'm noticing slow loading of Vike-related files.

One example:

Any reason why these Vike files are slowing things down tremendously? Or other Vike 6 changes I should be looking at?

Additionally, noting a very slow transform of virtual Vike user server code, like in the below log:

What change exactly introduces these performance degradation? Updating from Vite 5 to Vite 6?

Exactly. With no other changes, but upgrade from Vite 5 to 6, many files are suddenly taking much much longer to transform and load the first time they're called. After they're in memory though, requests are much faster. But this takes 60sec after every server restart and is not reasonable for a development workflow.

I guess it's a Vite 6 regression then. Have you tried to reach out at Vite? The best would be to provide a minimal reproduction; they're usually quick at resolving critical regressions.

I'll try to figure out a reproduction. I'm not able to reproduce any difference with the boilerplates, so I'm concerned it's due to something different scaling poorly.

Not sure what changed, but Vite 6.1.1 fixed this regression. Upgrading to Vite 6 now.
