Hey. I just noticed that my project, https://github.com/mightyiam/tsconfigs, is similar to this one.

It's been a while since I worked on it.

Perhaps the authors and/or users of this project would be interested in having a look at mine.

It's much simpler. How much value do you feel it really provides. I've been wondering since it was published.

Personally? Not too much value, for me the biggest advantage with an extended tsconfig is that you can be sure 'browser x' or 'node version y' support is exact so you can make reliable assumptions about your baseline

The hard bit (for me) is looking through https://node.green/ and similar and matching that with what TypeScript has set up and the configs in mightyiam /
tsconfigs are mostly about a higher level of abstraction than that

Do you feel it'd be right to deprecate mightyiam/tsconfigs in favor of tsconfig/bases?

If people use them, I don't see a reason to do it - sometimes that's the right abstraction for people (and as 5.0 add multiple extends it can just be a part of the story)
