Using chrome, the Load page has to be reloaded before the 'Submit' fields on every slot works.

This is most likely javascript related, as the HTML is identical, and clicking the update button doesn't send any kind of traffic.

Tested and works without issue in firefox.

This is the same in Firefox. The reason for this is that there is a form within a table which is not allowed according to the HTML spec.
