indeed, it's not Spacemac's fault. until emacs@nightly is fixed upstream, I can recommend using these (working) versions:

  • emacs@pretest - if older emacs is acceptable

  • emacs-plus (if you want the latest)

brew tap d12frosted/emacs-plus
 brew install emacs-plus@31 --with-native-comp
