I have nowhere to find your contact method so I have to use this way, I hope you don't mind.

I have several questions about your implementation:

You did not declare main region in Xaml, however you added main region programmatically in bootstrapper. I don't get one thing here is how does the code know the main region is only for the tab control?
You have 3 views, but there is no modules associated with them. I think standard approach of PRISM is to treat views as modules, so that they can be completely separated from shell. Any particular reason you don't use module?
