Illustrator compatibility? #6
Comments
Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to trying yet. It should be totally possible, but I'm not sure what all needs to be done yet. Which is a real shame because Illustrator is my favorite design tool. If this worked for illustrator, what would you use it for? |
Image exportation. It's nothing that can't be done with Adobe's Common Extensibility Platform. This seems like it might have better performance though. Was just curious. If you think it's possible to do in AI, I might start tinkering see what happens |
Also, it'd be a lot easier to wrap unit tests around something like this in node.js land, as opposed to Extendscript. |
I would love to see this support Illustrator as well. Let me know if there is any way that I could help. |
I'm not actively maintaining this project right now. I had a big
replacement for it in the works, but that has been cancelled. That being
said, it should be relatively straightforward to change this code to work
with Illustrator. But it'll take some trial and error to get two way
communication rock solid. I wish I could help right now, but life is crazy
these days. Sorry

Noticed this package is setup for PS and AE. Was curious if there is some kind of tech limitation that prevents it from working with AI, or if it's possible and just hasn't been implemented yet?
