Ooh interesting. Works on macOS and Android. Will look into this later.

Out of curiosity, what is your use case for this by the way? This was a "bonus" feature out Google Summer of Code student three in at the very end but it's inherently limited since it will probably never work from the background so I'm very curious to hear how others intend to use it!
