Hey,
I use Spyder on a daily basis and every now and then I have a huge number of files open at the same time...
So far I think that there is not yet an easy way to select some of those files and close them
(except for scrolling through the tabs and closing them but this is slow and very hard to navigate...)
Today I realized that the outline with "show all files" enabled could actually serve as a nice tool to close selected files.
The only thing that this would require is an entry in the right-click menu to close the selected file, e.g. something like this:
I can't really implement this myself right now but I thought I'll bring it up since I'd love to see it implemented :-)
