can only be used to convert Notion pages/blocks into Markdown for display, and it cannot synchronously save the content back to Notion after editing in a Markdown editor?

Yes, you got it right. In simple terms, it's a programmatic markdown exporter for Notion. No, it doesn't save the content back to notion. Here "Save" means the generated markdown content gets exported to the file. This was removed as a default behavior and user had the control over where and how they save it. If you follow up with the v4 discussion #112 we are expanding to other content types. We are going beyond markdown. Would love your input :) |
