Hello @some-natalie In the meanwhile I created a script to build the kernel as per your guidance and wrapped it in a build script. After that, I ended up creating my own local (LAN) repository. You can find the details here: https://github.com/elegos/fedora-acs-kernel-builder/ Still looking into COPR solution (I think Fedora People repo could be an option, too). Cheers! |

Hello Natalie,
I hope you're passing a good time at the end of this year.
I'm using your kernel builds to passthrough devices in my VMs, and I've blocked the kernel updates via dnf.conf.
Besides the need of disabling the exclusion each time I install a new build, I was wondering if there could be a way to use COPR for automatic updates.
This would require also to keep the kernel version up to date, otherwise the standard kernel could be installed at any update.
Do you have any hint on how to manage this, or how to better manage the kernel updates?
Thanks :)
P.S.
I don't really und understand why Fedora is not including the ACS patch: it won't affect normal installations until you activate the feature manually in any case...
