React history.action equivalent

React Router has an awesome feature:

history.action - (string) The current action (PUSH, REPLACE, or POP).

This is very useful for determining whether a component was mounted as a result of a navigation action from history, rather than a regular transition.

A crucial use case (especially for UX) is:

1. If the navigation was triggered by a regular link click, fetch fresh data from the server.
2. If the transition occurred via the browser’s “back” or “forward” button, retrieve data from the cache and restore the scroll position.

The simplest approach would be to export the existing intent to useLocation.
