A CPU without AVX2 wouldn't even run any game at decent framerate anyway.

Your CPU is probably >10 years old

i5 12400f 4Ghz has avarange load 30-35% at 35fps (GPU limited)
I m perry sure that some kind of i7 2600 can get same performance, even if it would be 100% load.
But it seems no one care about it

Is there a way to make a proposal to eliminate the mandatory nature of avx2, I have an i7 2600 and it is not far from the i7 4790, I think I could handle the games at a minimum, hopefully there will be a solution

Why? Maybe it's like Sony that has put avx2 in its games and has skipped them, showing that they are not mandatory, I don't see the need to limit people with old parts, they believe that you don't improve your equipment because you don't want or why can't

Thats....not how that works. The compiler makes the decisions on what instructions go where, and I promise you, it isn't going to just omit AVX2 instructions randomly from a whole executable.

Even ignoring that, no, a 2600 is not going to get anywhere near playable results even if it did have AVX2 support. It's just too old. I get wanting to hold onto hardware, but the adage is to reuse old parts for something else or to live within the bounds of it's support, not to try to compel newer software to support your 10+ year old chip.
