I used Marchery 2.0 through UVR 5.6. I was trying to master s 35 min podcast track up against a different podcast that I like the sound of. It gave me an error, saying the target track was too long. When I tried running a shorter portion of the file through against the othe podcast, then it said the reference was too long.
So a couple of questions:
What is the maximum allowable length of Matchery targets and references with UVR? Is there a different way to use Matchery that would allow for longer targets and references?; and
If I was to apply Matchery to a shorter portion of the larger file, is there any way to apply those settings to the whole file (e.g, an impulse response of the frequency match)?
Or are there other strategies that people have had success with (e.g., cutting the file into smaller chunks, mastering them separately and then reassembling (not ideal I imagine, but perhaps useable)?
