• I read through both the troubleshooting and the known issues sections, and my issue wasn't listed there

Problem description

Previously working VSTs not working anymore hanging Reaper also VSTs GUI not responding to any clicks and movement.

What did you expect to happen?

Reaper is loading, VSTs loaded and VSTs GUI are fully operational.

What actually happened?

Reaper hangs at plugin loads and closes automatically.

Anything else?

Everything was working before. Suddenly is stopped - just when I need to fix recordings in a studio for a band. Case is crucial for me.

Another random crash on different VST [doesn't matter which one... it crashes whole time and I can't start Reaper]:

Did you update your wine version before this started happening? This seems to have been an issue since wine 9.22. Downgrading to 9.21 seems to resolve this.

Another workaround, if you want to keep your wine version would be building wine 9.21 (or earlier) from source and keeping a separate WINEPREFIX just for yabridge. The obvious downside to that is that if you're using your system wine for other stuff, you need to set your WINEPREFIX and WINELOADER environment variables before starting your DAW/Plug-in Host.

Downgrading didn't helped at all. I've already tried that from your main page manual - known problems.
BTW: I am using Linux Reaper version [not emulated on WINE!] and I bought license for it.
