Regular Builds

Pre-built sf and roy binaries for linux64, mac64 and win64.
To install, just copy where you like and run. Requires signature files: either run sf -update or copy contents of data zip into your siegfried home directory (see below).

Static builds

Pre-built sf binaries for linux64, mac64 and win64 with embedded PRONOM signatures.
To install, just copy where you like and run. Does not require signature files or a siegfried home directory.

Data

The data zip contains compiled signatures and signature source files. Copy the contents into your siegfried home directory (e.g. /usr/share/siegfried). To locate your siegfried home directory, run sf -v. You can use a different home directory by running sf with the -home flag.

Wikidata playable demo 1.0

An initial release of the Yale University Library Wikidata integration for Siegfried.

The documentation that was originally here has now been replaced with the official Wikidata integration documentation.

Work that was still in progress at this stage:

• Auditing Wikidata sources and updating Wikdata models.
• Provenance for container files.
• Lang flag doesn't yet work, i.e. ./roy harvest -wikidata -lang DE.
• Additional testing verifying the efficacy of the Wikidata integration.
• And more!

You would be better served to use the official stable Wikidata integration release, at time of writing is 1.9.1.
