Signed plugin for usage on granfana cloud

would you be able to provide a signed, because it's a unsiged plugin it can't be used.

To give the rational the plugin can be used in private environments but no on grafana cloud which only accepts signed plugins in addition I guess I would help to get listed on the grafana plugin page since this is the goto location if you are looking for something.

We would love to sign the plugin, unfortunately after contacting Grafana we got an impression that their publishing program is not designed for OSS initiatives like RavenDB, but enterprises. In theory there are 3 levels of signature (https://grafana.com/docs/grafana/next/administration/plugin-management/#plugin-signature-levels) but according to our contact in Grafana we are not eligible for the Community one. At this point, without Grafana changing the rules (and pricing points), we do not see a possibility to sign it.

@ppekrol this seems really odd to me, since at least IMHO ravendb is OSS 😶‍🌫️ Is there a way I/the raven community is able to support in that matter? Because as a consequence you can't use it at the moment with grafana cloud (which is one of the easiest ways to get started rather than hosting your own stack)

Seems the issue got closed and they had contact with someone from raven (I hope the reached out to you ;) )

I hope you are well. I have sad news - the RavenDB plugin developers will not be participating in the partner program, which means that we will not sign this plug-in.

Unfortunately, the conversation with Grafana got stuck. We will try to move it forward, but I do not think that signing will happen soon. Apologies for the inconvenience.
