In our peer review guide @ab93 noted that the protocol for. Helping new reviewers find mentors is to reach out to the EiC.

Let's adjust this language to say

  • The editor can lead the effort to find mentors for the new reviewers by posting in the software-review Slack channel for help
  • If the editor needs support, they can contact the EiC / peer review lead for guidance!
