Issues with LILYGO T-Embed (CC1101) and 'BRUCE' Firmware v1.8.2

I am using a LILYGO T-Embed device with a CC1101 radio chip and custom firmware 'BRUCE' v1.8.2. I’ve encountered the following issues:

1. Menu Lag After Signal Capture Attempt

  • When entering the RF menu and selecting the signal capture option, the device waits for a signal to be captured (whether successful or not).
  • After exiting this option and returning to the main menu, the device experiences significant lag. Navigating the main menu takes 3 to 5 seconds after scrolling the wheel.
  • However, when entering any sub-menu from the main menu, the navigation speed returns to normal, and the lag disappears.
  • I have tried reflashing the firmware, but the problem persists.

2. Signal Capture Issue

  • In the 'RF' menu, I select the desired frequency and press the button on my car remote, but no signal appears in the spectrum.
  • Question:
What settings should be configured in the 'RF' menu for proper signal capture?

3. Factory Reset Without Physical Interference

  • Question:
How can I reset the device to factory settings while keeping the 'BRUCE' firmware?
  • I couldn’t find such an option in the firmware menu, and I’d like to avoid physical interference (like disconnecting the battery contacts), as they seem fragile.

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
