Why doesnt the types of symphonia_core implement serde?

What is the reason for the symphonia_core types not implementing serde? Should I make a pr, in which I implement serde for all of the types?

I'm not sure, but it could be due to this description or principle of Symphonia:

Minimal dependencies

That said, I agree that some improvements can be made. For example, adding #[deriveDebug)] to all objects, as currently only some of them have it.

Adding #[derive(Serialize)] to core objects doesn't have a runtime impact and might simplify regression testing by allowing comparisons between actual and expected serialized values.

However, I believe keeping dependencies minimal in the core crate is more important for end users than providing simple debugging tools, especially when a small amount of extra code can be written once to achieve the same result.

P.S. – I'm not a maintainer, so the above is just my personal opinion.
