Node Auto upgrade issue

I had installed Node 10.16.0 and its auto upgraded to latest version. Is there any resolution for that

What do you use to manage/install Node.js and what environment are you running in? Node.js doesn't have any updater built-in that I'm aware of, so it could be something in your environment that decide to download and install a newer version?

Its on windows 11. I am really surprised of this behavior as well. If its related to Windows also where I have to check it up.

What did you use to install Node though? The installer from the Node.js site, a package manager like winget or chocolatey, a node version manager like nvm-windows or an alternative method?

I wouldn't expect this from the official installer, but if you use a package manager or node version manager you could unintentionally upgrade node.js.
