Documentation Suggestion: String Parameter Description

So I've read the v3 changelog. I notably noted the part about string input having a lot of issues.

Perhaps would help if the documentation would describe the ideal string format to guide users?

I'm using the package right now, and I'm thinking about what the best format for string should be, and saw there's no description about it in the docu. Like maybe the best format is utc iso 8601 format, and internally parse to different timezones as needed, do computations as needed
