Overview

Outline the key event types within a CICD system and the attributes that should be associated with each event.

Tasks

• Write an outline for the following event types
  • Issue events
  • Deployment events
  • Build events
  • Test events
  • Run events {pipeline & task}
  • Release events
• Open pull requests to define each event type after outline
• Ensure evaluation with/against CDEvents/Eiffel
• Evaluate whether or not the event.name attribute can be pre-defined based on the type of event.
• Define which events can be used to create spans.
