I'm thinking of porting metro-ui-css to the new operating system called essence-os. Initially I would like to know what the community thinks about the portability I'm planning.
what is essence-os?
So... "essence-os" looks like a chromebook, looks like a browser. But the project description is this: A desktop operating system built from scratch, for control and simplicity.
ui/ux in essence-os
why?
A good argument is that I want to collaborate with essence-os and metro-ui directly.
I would like to create things on the desktop by the metro-ui standard, most linux distros do not have this. And it would be cumbersome to request or fork these core changes.
I like to innovate and create things, and I think it would be a good learning opportunity to combine two projects (metro-ui-css, essence-os) into something amazing. So I thought of redesigning essence-os with metro-ui. Partly because essence-os is innovative, it's a small project compared to things like Android, Windows, Linux etc.

In my opinion the metro-ui interface was pretty advanced in 2012, today the metro-ui interface is in its major release. And I feel that I must contribute in some way, for being a user who loves design, windows and linux.
In 2012, tablet use was very common, but almost everyone I know didn't use a tablet very often. For that reason, I imagine that the launch of Windows 8 with the metro-ui interface was unplanned, it was unlikely.
Today we are in 2022 and there are several approximations of browsers with operating systems, see projects like NodeOS, chromebooks, essence-os. (I see many professors and academics using chromebooks in the United States and in some countries. And... the idea of NodeOS was good, despite the project being stalled... So... I see essence-os as an alternative to NodeOS, Linux... because... it's a starter project, small and light and made from scratch.)

As I said at the beginning, I want to know what the community thinks about the idea of offering metro-ui-css support in essence-os, I want to hear feedback
