It would be very helpful (especially for smaller nextcloud installations with a few trusted users) if we could specify a nextcloud group which is allowed to use their own themes.
These custom themes should be site-specific, so couldn't be able to be used by other sites or other users (unless the theme directory was shared as a nextcloud folder share, and that user also had permission to use their own theme).

@wikontor What about the "Limit to groups" feature in the app's admin page? 😉 Besides, please don't add new suggestions to existing issues, there should always be exactly one issue per suggestion.
@PhrozenByte Thanks for asking. I was too hasty and searched for the Limit to groups in apps management - and now I found it in the second setting section. Sorry to bother you 😔 (and glad I can already use this feature) 🙂.
Most of the time a theme will strictly belong to one site since it is much easier for authors to just copy a theme and quickly hack the things they want differently for a specific site.
Currently, it is fairly inconvenient to register the theme in the Admin section and manage the Site in the User files section. (Especially since there is no easy way to upload a theme).
It would be much better if it was possible to keep the theme and the site together.
