Child locations UI is confusing with filters applied

In the Location list, any locations with a parent appear with a dot on the left. This is a bit confusing when the parent location is excluded by the current filter. In this example, it makes it look like all of these locations are children of the top one — even though they are actually at different sites. I'm not sure what the solution is to this... maybe there could be some way to hide the "dot" if the parent is not visible?

Actually the dot disappears if I sort the list by name.
