Behaviour

Test Explorer is not reporting test status (red/green/skipped icons) when executed test is annotated with @pytest.mark.xdist_group("<group_name>")

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have pytest and xdist installed.
  2. Create a test:
import pytest
@pytest.mark.xdist_group("my_name")
def test_result_on_test_explorer_tab_with_xdist_group():
    assert True
  1. Setup pytest args
-n1 --dist=loadgroup
  1. Run the test in Test Explorer pane.

Output for Python in the Output panel (ViewOutput, change the drop-down the upper-right of the Output panel to Python)
