Is it possible to switch between prompt variants dynamically?

Is it possible to dynamically determine which prompt variant to use, either inside the flow using activation conditions or input or by passing a parameter or header in the request to the PF endpoint post deployment?
e.g. I need to support different models or different tools for a given step in the flow and their corresponding prompt templates, but don't want to end up with multiple endpoints running several versions of the same flow
