A new option for Advanced Paste to be able to take a normal URL from the clipboard and paste it as a defanged URL

Scenario when this would be used?

Incident Response, when dealing with malicious websites and gathering IOC you often have to copy and paste URLs but when pasting them you should defang them to make the safe and non clickable. Currently this is typically done by copying the URL, pasting it into CyberChef (https://gchq.github.io/CyberChef/) and selecting the Defang recipe. Once that is done, copying and pasting the defanged URL to where you want it. Having to paste the normal URL first before converting it increases the risk of accidentally visiting the URL.

Normal URL = https://www.google.co.uk
Defanged URL = hxxps[://]www[.]google[.]co[.]uk
