Description of the new feature / enhancement

It was very useful if a window opens on a monitor from which application was launched by Start menu or from desktop.

Scenario when this would be used?

  1. Press application icon on main desktop then it opens there.
  2. Then press application icon on second desktop and it opens on second monitor.
  3. And we have two windows on different monitors (desktops) without moving windows from on to other.

At the moment the new window opens where it is opened already or where it was opened last time. It is not productive for user.

  1. applications have a lot of control over this.
  2. @dtoporov, What OS are you on as well? Win11 should have this be a lot better. /needinfo

but like, if i am on a 2nd monitor and click onenote in my taskbar, it opens the app in the last spot it was launched typically so if that spot was on monitor 1, that app would go to monitor 1

FancyZones does have some of this concept but you have to snap the window first

My OS is Win 11.
Yes, typically application opens its window in the last monitor. My offer is opening the new window on monitor where application was started (was clicked).
