Hi, I just got this 15" macbook air m4 silver 512 gb and I think I'm having trouble with this app. I've read through the README and feel like i have everything setup as indicated in the install instructions. another possibly related question. What does "Pause background activity" do? |

No, you indeed have to disable the power adapter manually, as the MacBook will use AC instead of battery when plugged in. Some day I wanted to add something alike “Drain to 80 %”, but there is little demand if the app is active at all times. “Pause Background Activity” basically temporarily disables the app (as otherwise you would have to disable background activity from System Settings - quitting the app itself only quits the GUI front end). |

So this means that before leaving to work remotely or heading to the
airport i should pause background activity in order to get to 100% SOC?
