Update site to reflect new Bing design #1

This project is showing its age. Bing.com looks a lot different now. We need to refresh the look and feel.

  • Update to bing.com's current design (We'll need our own CC or public domain images though)
  • Fully responsive
  • Strive for a decent Page Speed rating

Couldn't agree more. I'm happy to assist with this as well. Thinking out load, perhaps a decent start would be something like the following targets:

  • Update to bing.com's current design
  • Fully responsive
  • Strive for a decent Page Speed rating

Just a suggestion, of course. Also, as a consideration, we could simply upgrade the MVC version but could also consider changing the framework.

If we wanted to do that, I'd suggest that as a separate task. The separation of concerns is well enough that we can do the design now and that later.

Bet everything else on your list is perfect.

Great! I've already made a first step by updating the project to make it runnable with the actual tooling of today. Of course keeping in mind that we won't change anything groundbreaking. Next step now will be actually getting started on the issues on the list.
