When i use ß in the title it gets changed to SS in the navigator title.
It stays "ß" everywhere else.
I think that when he tries to make everything uppercase the error happends.

Hey!
If I recall correctly, we don't change the letters' case when displaying the title. See here and here. Could this problem be related to how Hugo handle things? Or maybe how the browser does it?

Hey,

I tried viewing the website on 4 different browsers, firefox, opera, chrome andedge same problem.
In the _navigation.scss file on line 24 there is the following command
text-transform: uppercase;
When i remove it, it shows as ß but everything else is no longer written in uppercase, except my first part of my first name and first part of my family name.
Since there is no uppercase ß maybe hugo or something else is changing it to SS

Thanks.

Hmm. It thought you are talking about the page title that appears at the browser's tab.
So, yes, there is this rule to make the site title uppercased. You can override any CSS rule you want with a custom CSS file, or changing the original SCSS file.

I'm not a German or other related languages speaker, but as far as I know, the uppercase form of ß is SS. So, it seems correct to do that.

I am not a German native speaker, but it is on my knowledge that the uppercase for ß is SS.
