Organisers' guide to accepting talks #4

It would be good to have some clear criteria around accepting talks, and the details that should be covered off with speakers when agreeing to a talk.

Some things that can be included:

  • confirming the length of the talk
  • confirming the adherence to Code of Conduct
  • helping shape the talk so that it's relevant
  • helping review slides/talk contents so it's the best possible from the speaker
  • getting more than one organiser to agree a talk is accepted
  • maintaining a healthy diversity balance in the talks
